About

My name is Sven-David Rueff.

I was born and raised in Basel, Switzerland.
I have been playing tennis since I was five years old.
I enjoyed practicing during the week and playing tournaments at the weekends.

At the age of ten I began to win junior tournaments.
This gave me a lot of confidence in my youth.
In the seven years that followed I managed to stay in the top 10 in Switzerland for my age and even topped the list for one year at the age of 14.

I was offered a scholarship at the age of 18, to continue my education
alongside my tennis career in the United States.
I played College level Tennis in both Florida and California for 3 years
(NCAA Division 1 and 2).
 

In London I finished studying for my degree in Sport Management, I also continued to play tennis consistently.

I obtained a degree as a Tennis Coach from the Swiss Tennis Association I also have coaching experience in Switzerland, The United States, England and Israel.
